What inescapable Côte d'Azur site ! And thanks to its so famous Promenade des Anglais, long avenue which climb along big shingle beaches while being decorated by palms, hotel and palace (example : the Negresco). But that's not all. In addition to Place Masséna as well as large museum (Musée des Beaux-Arts Jules-Chéret, Musée Matisse...), the heart of this charming city of Nice represents the over large part of this site. What area is it ? Nice old town of course ! And thanks to its streets and alleys composed of Colorful houses, thanks to also at its places (ex : Place Saint François and Place Garibaldi), at its religious monuments (ex : Annonciation Chapel, Saint-Jacques Church, Sainte Réparate Cathedral…), and thanks to the Cours Saleya, long space where it’s organized markets in flowers, olives, fruit and vegetables. And to top it all off : the hill of the castle. Dominated by a ruined castle (destroyed in 1706), and decorated by artificial cascades of water supplied by Vesubie river, this rocky promontory offers viewpoints really unforgettable, and on city of Nice thanks, in part, to its Bellanda tower, as well as on the harbour.
