Ancient capital of Provence famous thanks to its candies known under the name of « calissons from Aix », the city of Aix-en-Provence have very well known for preserving a good part of its cultural heritage. The city is therefore remained famous thanks to its Mirabeau avenue (long square covered by plane tree and decorated by hotels and fountains), thanks also to its Saint-Sauveur cathedral, but also thanks to resplendent hotels and small squares adorned of fountains.
